Typically we store meat in the freezer with these bags and I find it works far better than a regular ziploc bag at preventing freezer burn. The one negative I guess is that you have to commit to buying and storing another kitchen appliance to use these bags, but overall I find it’s worth the extra investment.

They’re string but not stiff. This makes storing much easier they’re also large enough for opening , getting something out and then resealing the bag again. The air vacuumed out quicker than the less expensive bags I have used. I do think they are pricy for the amount you get in a box. But they do keep your food fresher longer
