Fits In The Drawer
I previously purchased this model 6 years ago, but it finally broke. Something inside broke and it would no longer work with the hose attachment. I decided to purchase the same model because it fits into a drawer. While it is the same model, it is quieter. My old purchase included the hose and handheld attachment, this new unit did not. Luckily, I have the attachment but seems that it would be nice if they included it. Instead, they include a ROLL yet this unit does not store rolls... whatever. Hopefully I will get at least 6 years use of this device. The warranty is 5 years. I personally do not care for the green accent color, seems so outdated.

Adapter not included?!?
They sell the machine with the hose, but not the adapter you need to use the hose with resealable bags. What a terrible idea that is. I gave this as a gift not understanding you needed to buy another "accessory" to actually use resealable bags. When I read the contents on the box, i knew resealable bags weren't included. They made a big deal about the hose being included, not that you needed yet another part to actually use the hose!! I bought it online and read the contents and thought I was covered only to find out, but that wasn't the case at all.

So I purchased my food saver years ago and boast a out it repeatedly. However recenty I purchased one as a gift to discover it only comes with a hose the chamber is not included, so what was your point on that decision. Had I not herm there when the gift was given there is no way they would have even noticed it was to be used in order to utilize your hose. This was the most embarrassing gift and after i boasted some much about it. I end up returning bcuz the store i got it from had no idea about a chamber accessory. Even the manual had a picture with the chamber attached to the hose

Horrible Design on Hose Connector
Recently, the green hose adapter failed (plastic prong broke). We tried to purchase just the replacement hose. After searching the internet, we discovered this is a common failure and the hose is not available. No way to purchase a hose. Now we have a seni-worthless Foodsaver (cant use for mason jars or reusable bags).

The product looses suction before sealing. I have been using FoodSaver since they first came on the market, many years now and am totally dissatisfied with this product.

love it use it all the time
we use ours for portioning meat for the freezer and portioning fridge items as well. you need to make sure that you have the bags in the correct direction (there is an top and bottom) and keep the sealing area clear and there is a reservoir that collects liquid a dry bits that need to clean as well.

Will not vacuum. Bags are thin and don't seal.
After using this only once, it will not pull a vacuum! I had just bought some meat and needed to seal and freeze it so it wouldn't go bad, and my FoodSaver would not pull a vacuum at all! Even worse, it sealed the bag before any of the air was out, so it left my meat in worse shape than if I had just used a ziplock freezer bag, and wasted the FiodSaver bags inhad since I had to cut them open before even using them. Also, the bags are so much thinner than they used to be and the seal is not very good at all. The roll I recieved was wrinkled and will not hold a proper vacuum seal. Complete waste of money! This brand and products used to be top notch whereas now the quality has plummeted but the cost is the same! I woukd give 0 Stars if i could.

Loved the product
My husband and I bought this in the summer of 2018 and it was working great until July of last year when the machine wouldn't latch at all and I have tried more than once to contact someone about it with no reply. We are very disappointed because we really wanted to get it replace but now its to late because we no longer have it.
