Irresistibly convenient
I ordered the pint bags after finding the quart bags irresistibly convenient, but too large for some purposes. I didn't read the bag dimensions before ordering, so I was surprised to find the bags rather long and narrow. They're about 2 inches shorter, and 2 inches narrower, than the quart bags. This is less than ideal because I have a good amount of excess bag at the top. On the other hand, that will make the bag easier to re-use. Despite any size-and-shape concerns, the convenience of the pre-made bags (versus rolling your own, so to speak) is irresistibly convenient, especially during harvest season when I'm freezing dozens of bags of food.

This is a wonderful size bag for those who want to have small portions. I am able to take advantage of sales and create meals because of this pint size bag. The rolls are nice but they are overkill when it comes to portion sizes for one or two.
They seems to be unavailable in the stores, I was told by a store employee that there was no such thing as a pint size bag, imagine that.
So I have stocked up. I love my Food Saver vac and tell everyone how great it is, how no food goes to waste and how easy it is to have something ready (except for the reheating) when I get home from work. I think there should be a Food Saver vacuum i every home!

Handy Pint size helpers
I have re-ordered these pint size bags on numerous occasions. They are, without a doubt, the best size for leftovers or portioning out a small amount of anything you can think of. I just purchased two whole Pork Loins and cut them down to manageable size portions. Some cut in cubes and most are cut in about 2 to 2-1/2 inch mini roasts that, when defrosted, are cut into 2 thick, boneless pork chops. Although I use all sizes of Food Saver bags, these pint size are the absolute handiest for a single man to use. I am eternally thankful for such a great product. A part of every order always includes Grandpa's little helpers.

These are great for portioning fruit for freezing. Very convenient to have ready-made bags all the same size.
However, the white area for the label is at the bottom of the bag. Can't write on it after the product is in the bag because it is all lumpy. Can't read it if you write on it first because, again, once the product is in the bag it is all lumpy. Froze several bags of blueberries yesterday, and can't read any of them. There is a large flat area at the top of the bag that could be written on before or after sealing (since so much of the bag is required at the top for the sealing process). It would make a LOT more sense to print the white label area up there.

The Best!
I have used numerous off brand bags but these are truely the BEST!!! They consistently seal THE FIRST time, are very tough, and keep food fresh for a very long period of time. I have used food frozen in my foodsaver bags long after the recommended time with no loss of quality or safety. With off brands, sometimes you can not get a bag to seal so you finally after many tries and much frustration, need to start over with a new bag. This very rarely happens with foodsaver. so, even though they cost more, ultimately they are worth it. Also when bought on sale or in quantities the price is very comparable. I love my foodsaver bags!

Pint size the best size!
I love the pint size FoodSaver bags! These are the perfect size for my portions of food that I make in advance for lunches. I also use this size for portions of fresh fruit and vegetables to put in the freezer so that when I want 1 serving of fruit - I grab one of these little bags from the freezer and thaw them out. I also use this size for Avocados. If I buy a few Avocados and they are getting ripe to quickly - I cut them in half and seal each half in a bag, put them in the fridge, and can have them when I want them!
So many uses for this perfect pint size bag!!

JUST RIGHT FOR ONE OR TWO PEOPLE
THESE BAGS ARE JUST THE RIGHT SIZE FOR TWO PEOPLE. LEFT OVERS. I PUT 4 PC OF CORN IN A BAG ABOUT 3 1/2 TO 4 INCHES IN THE BAGS. I POKE HOLES IN BAG AND COOK IN THE MICROWAVE COOK ABOUT 5 MIN. READY FOR PLATE. FREEZE VEG. JUST RIGHT FOR TWO NO LEFT OVERS. SO HANDY.. SAVE MONEY ON CHEESE RESEALING BAGS. A BIG MONEY SAVER. I BUY IN BULK DRY GOODS LIKE A 20 LB BAG OF RICE PUT IN QUART JARS AND SEAL AND RESEAL AS I USE IT . THE TOP CAN BE REUSED. MAKE BIG BOWEL OF SALAD PUT IN GT JARS AND PUT IN FREG. FOR THE WEEK. I HAVE HAD 3 SEALERS HAVE USED FOR MANY YEARS. TWO STILL WORK.

Perfect Little Bag
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Being elderly (72) and living alone this particular size bag works so well for me. It is just the right size for a single piece of meat and, of course, the vacuum bag lasts so long in the freezer without getting freezer burn. I took out a pork chop last night dated December 9th, 2019 and it was perfect when it thawed out! I recommend this size for anyone living alone and cooking for only one. I can purchase large packages of meats and put them in the pint bag knowing it will be just as fresh when I take it out of the freezer weeks or months later!!
