Les contenants de conservation et de marinage sous vide FoodSaver scellent la fraîcheur et la saveur, grâce à deux modes au choix. Placez la vanne en mode sous vide et fixez-la à une scelleuse portative (vendue séparément) pour conserver les aliments frais dans le congélateur, le réfrigérateur et le garde-manger. Le mode « Marinate » (Mariner) permet de faire mariner la viande, le poisson et les légumes en quelques minutes, et non des heures. Ces contenants pratiques FoodSaver s’emboîtent et s’empilent pour vous aider à organiser votre cuisine et sont fabriqués en Tritan, un matériau de première qualité, pour une durabilité extrême et pour la prévention des fissures et des taches. Food last longer, saves money and less waste.
I really do like these containers, but I recommend that one check the containers every couple of days to be sure the seal dot remains down. I noticed that depending upon the type of veggie, these seal dots will pop up, within a couple of days. It is of no consequence as I just reseal the container. What I have been doing is do the seal procedure, wait a few seconds and reseal again. This way I can be sure that all the air is out and that I have a good seal. It is important to be sure that no food is in the way of the center seal area, or close to the sides of the container's seal as this will impede the unit from a proper seal. Also be sure that veggies like lettuce, spinach, etc., are towel dried before placing into container and then proceed with sealing.

Don't buy Foodsaver Containers
I have bought at different times 25 containers, 4 = 10 cup , 21 = 3/5/8. because buying them at different time I'm not sure which one is newer or older. Over all I like the container when they work. the problems that I have had not holding seal and stress cracks on the 8 cup, I have 5 covers that will not seal I've called and stated I would even purchase different parts for the cover. I was told they were not available. They have factories full of these parts. The company is deciding not to make these parts available. So you would buy all new complete products. These products should last for years, all I'm asking to be able to buy parts. I'm going to go to another company Zwilling they sell container and have been rated by Consumer Report as better.

New Containers
The new containers don't work any better than the old ones. None of the old design held the seal for more than a few hours. The new one is the same way doesn't hold the seal at all. The only ones that ever hold a seal are the clear canisters with white lids. Never have an issue with those and go figure they don't make those any longer. I love the bags they work great but the containers are a huge disappointment. I was so hoping for a product that worked.

They needed more R&D before releasing these.
I bought these when they came out. Virtually everyone single one has literally cracked under pressure except the smallest one. The lid and bottom of the large flatter one broke, the taller thin ones the plastic is spider web cracking on the sides. I have had foodsaver products for 15 plus years and generally love everything, and I am disappointed and surprised these have such good reviews, want to love them, but they aren't quality.

6 OUT OF 7 HAVE IMPLODED & WAITING FOR THE 7TH
I absolutely love the 10cup and smaller design of these containers, but I'm not investing anymore money in them except the smaller version which has never imploded on me. They should re-design the 10cup because they eventually will implode and scare the beejeebies out of you. It mostly happens when you are vacuum sealing. I actually thought someone had shot me a couple of times because it was THAT LOUD! Only one imploded in my fridge that I discovered the next morning. Even if you release the vacuum a little after sealing, the pressure will eventually compromise the cover and it will implode. BOOM!!!

Built well. Work well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These containers are very thick for food storage containers. The lids are very well made and the seal is excellent. I went off book and marinated chicken in a spicy/ginger/yogurt marinade for a couple hours in the fridge under vacuum. The chicken kabobs I made came out very tasty. Will use this a lot. One thing I'd like to note is that I used this with my older model vacuum sealer and jar sealing hose. Was perfect. I was a little nervous as the picture showed the newer vacuum hose outfit.

New container versus the old version container.
I was concerned with the new type of container, being I still have the older version which I am using today. I am most impressed with the new way of sealing the container from the old version. The other issue I noticed is the seal is way better than the older version, with the older version the rubber seal kept coming off when I removed the lid and had to put the rubber back in place prior to sealing the container. Some of my older versions plastic body which I have had for 5 years plus, cracked with normal use, Judgement on this issue is still out, I will be ordering more of these new style containers.

Good find
I find it really frustrating that I look for containers all the time and there're hardly any available. I have to use points and checkout the clearance section and found these! Never have I seen them on website for sale... Please offer more containers of variety.
