Rated 5 out of 5 by Lyn2014 from Love the Portion Bags The Portion sized bags are the best thing to come in a long time. They are perfect for so many things. If there is a sale on I will buy a lot to save money and portion everything out. . I use the portion bags to make individual servings so that I can cook just enough for each person. Nuts, fruits, pasta, spices, meats, veggies are in .measured portions for recipes. I like the rolls because you can use just what you need. I do have a small problem with sealing the two bags at the same time. If I can't get it to seal I just tear them apart and no problem They get wrinkles sometimes if you happen to cut the bags too short, so all you need to do is separate them unless youu cut them way too short. LOL. My Grandson even sealed his welding rods in them to keep moisture away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Abe423 from Excellant Product, as are all the foodsaver produc I am a believer in the foodsaver system. I have 2 of them, one at my home and one at my fiancees home. I use them for everything I freeze from soup to deserts to meats and vegatables. The portion pouches are great for cheese, sausage and cracker packs getting ready for a football party. I also use them for all the meat spreds I use and have to put back in the fridge and nothing gets moldy or spoils before I get to use it again. I make the bags long enough that I can cut them open and reseal them when I'm finished with them. Thank you for a great product and keep up the good work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Excellent Buy! So far, I've cooked up 3 lbs of bacon (in bits) and put ¼ - ½ lb in each portion then just reheated when I need it in a recipe. This keeps my kitchen “grease-free” most of the time, but still lets me use the bacon for flavoring when needed without making a bigger mess. I found that since I can’t fold the tops down to keep the edge clean for sealing, I need to use a funnel inserted into the pack in order to put the food in the packages. Bacon grease doesn’t wipe off easily, but this is more cost effective than using up the quart size bags, and I don’t really like the rolls as much..

Rated 5 out of 5 by grandpa2 from I use your product differently than you planned I separate the roll into two 5 1/2" wide rolls and make small individual servings that are handy to use. I buy in bulk to save money and repackage. There is just me and the wife and we're 70 yrs. old. We also cook in bulk and package individual portions to freeze for an easy to prepare meal anytime. We also freeze individual cooked portions that we take to my 98 yr. old mother-in-law who lives by herself on her farm 500 miles away. We visit every 3 months and fill her freezer with 3 months of pre-cooked, portion packaged food that she can heat and eat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Slam from Cost to Performance I've tried other bags both less and more expensive. Popular brands and stuff you've probably not even heard of. All different "thickness". I can say that the quality of these bags has been worth the extra cost over the "bargain brands". I've not had a bag develop a hole or lose vacuum. There's not much to say about bags other than that. They're quality manufactured and work as intended. If you're sealing up your recent bulk purchase... the last thing you want is for the bags to lose their vacuum. Spend the extra and save those meats and veggies. I did not receive this as a sample or demo. Bought em right here only because I couldn't find them cheaper elsewhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jaythetreeguy from Awesome Product !! I love my FoodSaver ! As a hunter, I am usually tossing freezer burnt venison before the next season. Now my meats are as fresh as the day I froze them over a year later. Same for my vegetables ! I save a fortune from otherwise wasted food, and the work it takes to prepare and process. The portion packs were a good idea, cutting sealing time in half, and great for single portions. Excellent for when I make a big pot of chili or soup. Very easy to use and clean. The most used small appliance in my kitchen, besides the coffee pot ! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 4 out of 5 by smokenclays from Good idea, one downfall The idea is awesome, love for doing snack sticke, bacon, steaks etc saves a lot of bag cutting of wider widths to make size for such purposes. Works great , love it, with one downfall. I can't get both bags to seal at once, can't get vacume up to cut off point to seal 9 out of 10 times, many attempts at same bag something just isn't sealing up right, try as I may, so to save frustration and time I have to separate and do each individually which does add more time but no as much as fussing several times trying to get it to seal with bags together and ending up separating in the end. I will get more as they work well for doing portion sizes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cottelo from SUPER fonctionnelle !!!
