Rated 5 out of 5 by DoubleD from Wonderful product!! Trying the sample package, I still am not sure what I like better. I really like the rolls but sometimes have difficulty in sizing the right size for efficiency. Then I tried the bags and I love those too. I guess I will stick with the 11" roll because I gives me the best flexibility. I am also going to stock up on the quart size. It is a great product that I can label with size portion and date purchased with marker and toss in the freezer. With meat, sometimes I just poke holes in the tray and vacuum pack the whole package for freezer storage and the supermarket label is still on with the size and date of purchase. The food stays very fresh.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChilenaComilona from Perfect multipack We love the multipack starter kit because it has the perfect variety of bag sizes that we need for the different food items we are saving throughout the year. For instance, at Christmas time we make tamales, and we use the larger ones to bag up and freeze up to 2 dozen uncooked tamales at a time. Then we use the smaller bags to divvy up the cooked tamales into one dozen per bag, which is perfect for gift giving. When you give someone a gift of food sealed in a food saver bag, that really impresses people, and they feel like you are giving them something really fresh, that will still be fresh when they get home and open that bag.

Rated 3 out of 5 by muffy from Good for food that has low moisture contents Works great for food that has low moisture. But for the food that has high moisture, after I vacuum sealed the food, the air filled up inside the bag after 30 second. I checked the seal but i did not notice any leak. It will be better if this bag is designed to block the moisture getting through the bag during vacuum sealed especially for the price. I now only use it to vacuum sealed low moisture food and it's fine. I did ordered more even it only works for low moisture food. I like to heat and steam the food in microwave. Food doesn't dry out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sherry68 from Easy to use. I bought these so I could buy and store seasonal vegetables that we don't grow in our garden. I recently found a good deal on asparagus and bought more than usual. I blanched them and stored them in meal size portions. I just used one last night. The cooking guide is right on the bag, so there is no guessing. The bag saves using another dish for preparation. Also, storing in the vacuum bag and then steaming prevents degradation. The asparagus were great, cooked to perfection! These bags are definitely a plus!

Rated 5 out of 5 by rich28 from It works great and easy-to-use I used the bags with some vegetables and seasoning then place them in the freezer. About a week later I got them out of the freezer and saw the cooking time on the bag. Then I set the microwave and place them in the microwave. They time on the bag is good but you will have to adjust it to your microwave on the temperature on what wattage your microwave is for the best cooking. The bag blows up and the relief bows built into the bag relieve some of the pressure to keep from popping and cooks it with just a little steam and pressure. It is easy to use for a self proportion meal and a 2 1/2 cup proportion for this bag size. It is good for a precooked meat to warm up from the freezer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by dauter7 from A bit too large This bag holds a lot of food! I like to make soup and save it for my kids. I use the quart-size bags b/c there is no other size of microwave bags. It is a pleasure to use them and wonderful to put them in the microwave and not worry that they'll explode, however, I WOULD LIKE TO SEE FOODSAVER MAKE A PINT SIZE MICROWAVE BAG! They are expense and a portion-size for soup is about 2 cups max. These bags can hold almost 4 cups so I feel like I'm wasting money on using such a large bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jarden from Use for backpacking - save space and washing dishe I just started using the Freeze 'n Steam bags for backpacking. Just measure out the dehydrated meals from your bulk purchase of meals (dehydrated meals cut weight and bulk saves money), seal in the Freeze 'n Steam bags (saves space in your backpack and you can see what the meal is without labeling), open the bag on the trail and add boiling water, steep and eat (saves washing bowls and conserves water). Great - convenient and cost effective! JA

Rated 4 out of 5 by jan911 from I love food saver; however I took advantage of an email offer, only to have 1/2 the order shipped. I called upon reciept of items and was told they were on a first come first serve basis. That was fine; however, my girlfriend took advantage of the same offer, after I told her about the promotion. She recieved her full order; I was told they were out of the product, when in fact they had some available. I just recieved the rest of my order; was a little unhappy with the customer service.
