This product is perfect in the autumn.
We have about finished cleaning out our garden in preparation for winter. Because of this brand of bag containers, and the quality of the food once frozen for future use, we have switched from canning to dehydrating or flash freezing many vegetables. It is easier and food stays fresher now.
These bags and the sealing machine are easy to use and make quicker time of harvesting almost everything from our 18 raised bed garden. I am so grateful for this product because I still work part time, and this manner of putting food by brings us a much healthier lifestyle. Thanks for all you offer the public. It makes eating healthier an easy thing.

Perfect!
There are only two of us at home now, and these are the perfect size for almost everything I need to freeze. So much easier to use than making your own bag from the rolls. I have talked for years about wanting a Food Saver and absolutely love it! Why did I wait so long? My husband says I'm having way too much fun with it.
I love fish, but it doesn't last long in the freezer in regular packaging and I got tired of throwing out food. The Food Saver packaging keeps fish fresher much longer.
Beef...I do not find brown meat appealing. It looks old and bad. The Food Saver keeps is looking just like I just bought it at the store, even after weeks in the freezer.
Best purchase we ever made!

Thicker bag
This review is for the food saver game bags. They are a little thicker and stand up to being punctured from dry goods better. Dried jerky is the worst for punctures. Seems to work fine for it.
On just a side note. If you decide to purchase a food saver unit buy the one with a 5 year warranty. My unit broke right after the warranty expired and food saver will only discount another purchase for an older style unit. But, I use my unit at least 3 or 4 times a day. It works great at re sealing potato chip bags. It won't usually expel the air but it seals them great.

My Mainstay
I do not know of any other or better food storage bags on this planet! They are my go-to, my mainstay, my when-they-are-on-sale-I-don't-hesitate-to-BUY bags. I am a Raw Feeder for two giant breed dogs. This bag is the ultimate for preparing and freezing their meats, which often include bones. The bones sometimes have sharp edges but this bag hold up like a champ - no punctures!!!
I really don't know what I would do or use without them, and I recommend to all my other Raw feeding friends to invest in a vacuum sealer and make sure they use the right bags. It makes storing and processing a BREEZE.

I plan to use these bags from now on
I have 2 freezers, and I try to make good use of them.
I used to use the old zip-lock freezer bags, and I found that food was often wasted . We raise a large garden, and if I saved more than we could use in one year freezer-burn was a problem.
My husband also hunts and we have venison and rabbit to keep for sometimes more than one year.
I wondered if the Food Saver would be a hassle, but was very surprised to find how convenient it is to re-package even the chicken and grocery meats I sometimes buy.
I am very happy to use my Food Saver and recommend it highly.

These are a great well made product.
I have been using these Qt. Bags and my sealer since I received the sealer system for Christmas last year. We buy many foods like meat, fish, vegetables and many other products in bulk and place servings in these Qt bags and seal them up and put them into the freezer or cupboard respectfully. I recently opened some steaks that I had sealed up and had a date of January 3, 2014. There was NO FREEZER BURN or DISCOLORING. The steaks cooked up beautifully and tasted wonderful. On a scale of 1 to 10...i give this system a 10.

I absolutely love the food saver. I've been using it for more than 15 years. I buy bulk meat products, divide them and vacuum pack them. It always keeps the meat nice and protected against freezer burnt.

Perfection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so pleased with these bags. With winter coming it's time to pack the freezer with serving size meals. I started with 20 chicken breasts and am now doing country ribs tenderloins, ground serloin, chops and more. No falling trying to bring my heavy packages. My daughter and daughter-in-law loves theirs also. We get together and cook Armenian foods in quantity and share them. These bags make doing all this packaging so much easier and I know my food is safe and will taste great. Thank you for a great product that makes my life so much easier.
